White Isle favourite Tom Pool is a 20-year scene veteran who has headlined everywhere on the island to as far away as D-Edge. Meanwhile, fellow Ibiza-based talent MURJD is a composer, musical artist, videographer and DJ who has played all over the world. He fuses both introverted and extroverted moods and grooves with powerful emotions as he aims to break down borders between people with his music. This stylish contemporary EP opens with the fantastically textural 'Between The Sun And The Moon.' Hefty drums are underpinned by warm bass, with astral melodies and spraying synths all providing storytelling emotion as they unfold. 'Kinetic' is then a brilliantly wonky groove for the after-hours with rolling drums and bass, chunky percussion and sweeping pads that add a dramatic sense of scale. It's dark and edgy and a track to really lock into during the small hours of the night. These assured Ibiza artists bring plenty of fresh perspective to this new EP on Stripped Down.
