Jeanri is a Haitian singer and also a citizen of the world...lives in Chicago...he is an activist, songwriter, composer, and singer...he sings for hope and justice in his home country, his adopted country, and as well as around the world..At a very young age he started singing in one of the most-well-renowned gospel group (CHOEUR CELESTE)accapella in Haiti where he was born. In 1998 he recorded one of the best ever recorded album in acappella music in haiti with five(5) hits compiling an astounding 18 months including 9 weeks # 1 hit (tande vwam'm) which is creole for "listen" in the top 20 on the (HGAC)Haitian gospel acappella chart, and over 6 straight months at the top 10 of the (HGM) Haitian gospel music. Unfortunately, three of siblings would not see those days because all of them passed away within a year and a half. In 2010, after he escaped the earthquake, he came into the united states just one survivor labeled with a passport he began to learn English at Triton College. he joined the U.S military and audition for the "Army Chorus" he made it, but his Unit Commander at the time would not release him. Desperate to show his talent to the western world, he started singing in Karaoke bars in Germany where he met a group of entertainers( singers, rappers, mcs, poets) who wanted to start something new. And so it goes, things took off with producers like Travis J. Brown and Alex Houston who are members of the "Army Chorus", from then on, the group started making music, mixing different styles and genres earning fans hearts and credits, until deployment came up and breaks them up without ever having the time to name the group...the bio goes on as Jeanri continues to live this life with his first hit single "LiveLife".
