New Dawn Fades is a negative pop band formed in Tokyo in 2016. The band's name comes from the name of a song by Joy Division, which they were into at the time. Heavily influenced by the introverted, spatial, explosive sounds of alternative, grunge, shoegaze, and dream pop. Influenced by this, he released two mini-albums ``in dreams.'' and ``bedroom silent fuzz.'' Although the group received positive reviews, their activities went on hiatus in 2019 due to the withdrawal of members. In January 2022, vocalist Shinnosuke Suzuki returned from Tokyo to his hometown, Miyagi (Sendai), and began spending time at live houses in Sendai. He met Tsubasa Ogawa and re-formed the new New Dawn Fades. Live activities will resume from October 2022. Independent regular event "Negative Pop Party!" in Tokyo Continuing the name, a new "Negative Pop Party! Vol.1.1" will be launched in Sendai on August 26, 2023
