简介
Described as "infectious, riddled with charm and elevating" by manchestermusic.co.uk, Black River's music evokes European street cafes as much as rolling hills and rainy landscapes. Turn Your Face and Picture Fades were recorded by John Lawrence (of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci fame) in a tiny chapel in Capel Curig, North Wales. Turn Your Face was inspired by a session watching The Third Man and drinking ridiculous amounts of red wine. Picture Fades was written in the middle of a harsh winter dreaming of Croatian snow-rides. It was recorded on a piano rescued from a flooded house.
