Infamous Cain/ J- money/ aka Jay John Infamous Cain/ J-money(AkA Jay John (Benjamin Johnson) was born in the Santa Thresa hospital in San Jose California Feb 9 1987, in late Dec of 1990 his family moved to Modesto California when Johnson was 4 years old leaving the South Bay area. Benjamin was always ahead of his time being that his Mother used to read to him before and after conception, he himself began speaking, reading and able to do simple math problems by the time he was only 15 months old. His Father (Glenn E Johnson) also a former vietnam vetran was big into music and sound recording. He played the guitar and sang he was also a computer tecnition by hobby and was proud of his Son. By the time Johnson was 12 years old his Father put him in panio and guitar classes. Benjamin became moderately fluent in both instruments to enclude flute and claranet.Unfortunantly Benjamins mind, time , and energy were more focused on the other training he had been studying since age 8, Martial arts (Shudo Kan Karate 4 years) he later picked up further training in Muay Thai, Kempo, wu shu, and Military Combatives level 1. October 12 2001 Johnson's Father died due to cancer caused from over exposure to radiation that was dorment post Vietnam. At age 14 Johnson began to freestyle with some of his buddies and one of his cousins. He loved rapping an found it as an outlet to release inner feelings, tell a story, and to release unwanted negative emotions. During this time the death of his Father and the changes that took place in his families house hold there after discouraged Benjamin and he quit rapping all together. " I didn't have time for it anymore" he says " I felt as if it were a huge waste of time during those days". At age 15 Johnson left his Mothers house in Modesto California and went to a christian boarding school out in Owosso michigan where he was able to meditate and spend time with God. Two of his impacts while in SVA were Bradley crowson (PE teacher) and Zack Faulth(classmate). January 2003 at age 17 Benjamin returned to his Mothers house in Modesto California and went to Elliott continuation school. There he met and old family friend from the East Palo alto and Oakland area that he never knew before. They began to rap once again and came up with a group called STR 8 MOB (P.nut tha assassin , Killa D (Johnsons name at the time), and Ton Locc. They began to take trips from Modesto to the bay area to include San Jose, Oakland, East Palo Alto, and Redwood city where they caught up with childhood friends reunited with family and began to record new tracks. March 2005 Benjamin Moved back to his Native city San Jose California, and began to get serious about his music, he decided he wanted to turn his rap hobby into a career. After many Trials and error once again he found himself giving up on music, and in Feb 2010 he joined the Army National Guard after getting an early release form a 36 month probation he aquired form a DUI charge back in 2007. March 2012 Johnson married his Jr. highschool sweet heart and switched from the Army National Guard to Active Duty Army Stationed in JBER Alaska.While stationed in Alaska he began to do local venues and support with already locally known artist Hace. Just as he was begining to rise in fame and popularity in the local area his marriage took a turn for the worst and landed him in Military Prison for a total of 36 months for a DV charge. Before his sentcing he said "This is it no more breaks, no more giving up I lost everything except my talent I'll push till I make it..." During his time of inprisonment he set new success goals, wrote plans, networked, and changed things about his life he never thought would be possible. His early release in 2016 due to good behavior while incarserated jump started his new style of rap and he Launched his new 2016 Thank God Demo as a tribute to show how thankful he is to God for getting him through tough times and providing him with the wright people at the wright times.
