简介
This Cd has been a long time coming! Jimmy "Luke" Paulman is a pioneer in the Rock n' Roll movement beginning in the mid-fifties. He is an original member of the Harold Jenkins (Conway Twitty) band, the "Rockhousers". He recording everything up to "It's Only Make Believe", on lead guitar, and also wrote some of Conway's earlier hits, that are still being played. He joined Ronnie Hawkins as a member of the Hawks, and enlisted Levon Helms to join the group, which later became known simply as "The Band". The songs included in this project are the result of Jimmy's prolific writing abilities and the arranging talents of Billy Weir, also an original member of the "Rockhousers". The two writers, lost contact with each other for 50+ years, and never imagined getting to work together again. "It was the right time", both agree. Together, the resulting songs will cause you to laugh, smile and might just even make you sad. "I Still Love Your Songs", is the story of Conway Twitty's life, in a way you've not heard before. "On Your Bed", describes the frustration of dealing with a person with Alzheimer's disease. "Elaine, Your Face", hauntingly beautiful and sad, at he same time. "Southern Girl", just may turn out to be your favorite, as you sit and listen. Luke and Billy have covered just about all of the bases, when it comes to variety in listen-ability once "Fox All Night" starts. It's going to be hard to decide which will be your favorite.
