Emika LaShelle Ford-Outlaw P*K*A "The Prophit" is a native of Long Beach California. Now making her home in San Bernardino California started performing at the age of 5 in the Entertainment Business. Her roots started in the Church with her dynamic lead vocals and shimmering range of natural talent that some mistake as awesome falsetto. Despite the lead vocal rolls Emika was given in the choir, she knew that she wanted to adventure into the wonderful world of entertainment and not afraid to take on the challenge. Large crowds are not strangers to Emika, as she has dominated and captured the eyes and ears of thousands in her career making head line performances from the Roxie Theater to the House of Blues, Sir Theater, The Roxbury, The Marla Gibbs Theater, Peppers in the city of Industry, Sector 7, The Riverside Municipal Auditorium, Corona Civic Auditorium, just to name a few. Emikas stage presence has led her to live performances with such artist as Method Man, Eazy-E, Keith Murray, Domino, Dr. Dre and many others. Now saved by the grace of God, Emika continues her journey still captivating crowds which has secured her position of being chosen as an opening act for well known Gospel artist such as The Williams Brothers and many more. Her raw talent can be delivered from vocal to rap, which she also writes in both categories and delivers the goods. Emika's goals in life are plain and simple, in her own words, "I want Grammies!" In spite of her hard work, she is very dedicated and true to her calling. She knows, "No pain, no gain!" Her insight and awareness are captured through her music, not only in the vibe of her lyrics but also in her dynamic stage performances.
