Jazz X Bio Greetings music lovers, the following is a brief bio about the group Jazz X. The group was formed in 2005 as kind of a “jazz experiment” recording project, hence the name “Jazz X”. Bassist Dan Foster, was auditioning guitarists for a new recording & live project to be based on material he wrote years earlier. He found what he refers to as the “perfect match” for this project in Brian Wohlschlegel. Foster states: “Not only is Brian an outstanding guitarist and music composer, but he also had a nice little home recording studio setup, which I didn’t have. We reviewed each others songs and started recording soon after, but because of conflicting schedules we could only get together one day a week. We would squeeze in extra sessions whenever we had the opportunity and within just 3 months, we had enough material for a full length CD. We then started the mixdown process along with some final touches.” Their first CD has been receiving an unbelievably positive reception.
