简介
Klang-born Liang stormed Malaysian airwaves in 2005 with his debut EP "8oz of Soul". His hit song "Show Me Whatcha Got" climbed all the way to #1 on Hitz.fm's MET10 (Malaysian English Top 10) chart and stayed on it for the better part of 2006. Hard work, dedication and a li'l bit of divine intervention resulted in Liang being the recipient of Hitz.fm's MET10 Best Newcomer Award. In 2006, he was also nominated as one of CLEO's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors. In 2007, "Nice Girls", Liang's pre-album-release single featuring Roshan of K Town Clan put him on the MET10 charts once again, paving the way for his brand new studio release "After 8". Produced by Liang himself, the album also features the talent of sound maestros JD (of Pop Shuvit) and Nick Lee plus collaborations with many performers in the Malaysian music scene. Slick and smooth, "After 8" has a refined sound - showcasing Liang's creativity and his ear for hooks that make your head bob. "After 8" was nominated for the prestigious Malaysian Music Industry Awards in 3 categories: Best Local English Album, Best Engineered Album and Best Album Cover and won the latter 2. With 3 music videos already shot, Liang's whipping up another storm with his brand of music!
