The 35th outing for Stories In Trance and we are proud to present this powerful little release to you. When two of the major forces on Stories In Trance decided to fuse their pure talent for one special project, the results were only ever going to be outstanding. We give you Vinganza vs Max Stealthy with Cloudburst. Vinganza (Dutchman Leandro't Jong) is one of Stories In Trance's founder members and will forever hold a special place in the legacy that has been created here with his truly stunning piece La Viola (SIT #2) setting the standard so high from such an early stage in the label's development. His work since has been rare, but two epic remixes have graced the label since, pure excellence demonstrated in reinterpretations of Max Fishler's The Skyshard (SIT #5) and T Gate's Faith (SIT #8). So we know what he is capable of and what he gives us here is a tour de force. In contrast to the rarity of Vinganza's productions, Poland's Max 'Stealthy' Szalko has been tearing it up of late since he burst onto the scene with his highly regarded Charge EP (SIT #14) back in the autumn of 2011. It was a great start to his production career and he has followed it up consistently with subsequent original work Arrinera (SIT #25) and Rising Light (SIT #32) along with brilliant remixes of spArk (SIT #17) Miguel Angel Castellini (SIT #18) White Motion (SIT #22) and Soundwave (SIT #27) that have really brought him to the attention of some of trance's finest and biggest DJs. So when these two combined their respective talents, they went flat out and left us with this superbly potent dual offering. Vinganza brings us his masterful half of this brilliant collaboration, giving us all his trademark urgency, pace and power complimented by an energetic lead melody. Max Stealthy's Daylight mix balances out Vinganza's with precision by allowing the lead to be more deliberate set against a driving bassline and some excellent layering bringing out a different dimension to the track. Cloudburst is mission accomplished for these two. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way.
