Scandal of Mercy, the debut album of MissionEighty5™ Music, features original songs from respected Catholic Christian artists Ike Ndolo, Greg Walton, Steven Joubert, Paul J. Kim, and Jenny Pixler. Also debuting on the album is Thomas Muglia, a young, gifted, and rising songwriter and musician whose perceptive song, "Scandal of Mercy," is the album’s title track. Sarah Kroger and Sarah Hart joined forces to create a moving rendition of the Christian classic "Amazing Grace," featuring the musical artistry of Sarah Kroger. The album blends Christian and human messages of hope, healing, compassion, forgiveness, and grace for a world in need of mercy. From solemn hymns to upbeat, driving hip-hop melodies, the album breaks open God’s messages of mercy for the healing of the world. The album also serves as the musical score of the new faith formation program of Saint Mary’s Press, Called to Mercy: Confirming Young People for a Mission of Witness (Winona, MN: Saint Mary’s Press, 2016).
