Ledale (Izm) Puckett a native of E. Palo Alto, CA. started off in elementary school playing the Alto Saxaphone. Following the footsteps of grandfather Joseph Puckett and admirations of Kenny G, & Dizzy Gillespie began practicing for endless hours trying to perfect his craft. These dreams were cut short by the inner city montrosities that threatend every inner-city hood in the Bay Area between 1985...-1995 CRACK COC*INE!!! With limited guidence and directions as a teen, Izm found himself in a world caught by greed, distruction, and death. Fot those stronger individuals, music became a way to escape and identify with the emotions of the youth of during these tragic times. As a hustla in a city that only stretched 2 1/2 miles long rap music was the center piece of Izm's existence. With Bay Area rappers and groups such as Too Short, Richie Rich, Coug Nut, The MAC, R.B.L Posse, Totally Insane, M.O.G, 4.1.5, The Luniz, C-BO, The Click, E-40, Celly Cell, Messy Marv, The G.L.P, N.W.A. and a host of others that took the game to new heights and definitions at that time inspired me to begin looking at the rap for what it was. Starting his career as a producer, Izm began making beats for underground rappers from East Palo Alto such as Big Pick, J-Fed, Biv da Kid, Alias Tone, Dose Duce, and a host of others. Once technology advanced to computer production and flooded the underground rap scene with an abundance of producers for all genres, Izm decided to step his game up and get into the business aspect of the industry. Acquiring his A.S. Degree in Electronics, Izm landed a job with Digidesign where he became a certified Pro Tools engineer and running their million dollar studio from 2005-2009 doing a series of projects for local groups such as T.H.C featuring Jus Dre and Shake. Izm didn't stop there though, he went on to further advance in the industry by starting his own independent record label title Sav'd Out Entertainment and added Big Pick, Dose Duce, D.V.S., and Jmayne to the starting line up. After a few years of trial and error, Izm and Sav'd Out Ent is now at center stage with their freshman debut titled Summer Days & Summer Nights. A compilation of Bay Area & Stockton artist thats taking the independent stage by storm.
