Like the city of New Orleans, Mojo Monkeys music is eclectic, adventurous, soulful, humorous, and funky. Because Los Angeles is where we live, this music is filtered through that lens. We considered making the title of this album LA LA, short for Los Angeles, Louisiana. Maybe our music would be easier to market if it were confined to a narrow genre, fitting in one box or another, but this is simply the music we love, and the music we love to play.
