‘Look Up at The Sky’ is the second release from enigmatic Sydney Singer Songwriter Nic Cassey following his first album released in 2012 ‘Where Are you Going I just Collected Some Pellets.’ “The EP draws influences from a range styles from contemporary folk, to Aussie Rock, to classic songwriters like Cat Stevens and Paul Kelly. A crowd funding campaign was launched in 2015 which enabled Nic to record in an amazing studio with some pro musicians that include Adam Pringle and Leroy Lee on guitar, and also introduced some new faces to the music scene such as singer-songwriter Bron Watkins, Ruby Everett and Dave Regular. “It’s been such an amazing experience, the process of crowd funding and getting closer to my fans by keeping them up to date about the launch. They even got to vote from the demos for their favourite songs to be included on the ep”.
