Multi-Platinum Latin Grammy Nominated Artist and Billboard Award winner Mexican Recording Artist, who became a teenage Idol in the early 80's, also known as "La Madrina de Menudo" for having a group of teenagers open for her concerts, eventually becoming the world famous "Menudo". She performed in 4 "OTI" contests and was named Billboard's Best New Artist 1981. Her carrer expanded for 6 years and 6 albums with Discos RAFF, Melody and Fonovisa then retiring completely to look over her kids. Some of her radio hits include "Baila Banidoso" "Pega la Vuelta" "Tango", etc. In 2003 Alondra came back with a grupero album which awarded her with a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Grupero Album of the Year a complete shift from her early pop music years.
