Mimi and Teft are introducing a new style with the EP Met a Man, in April 2012. These are the first of this natural pop genre, under the name Bella Bon Cat. This is a soulful natural pop EP. It's the first of a number of pop-americana style with a twist of jazz, focusing on Mimi's vocal style. We perform live around the Los Angeles area and on the west coast. You can also find videos of us at http://youtube.com/user/mimiandteft. Teft also produces artists around the LA area, including the Brian Buckley Band, 6Brooks, and Casey Hurt. Our prior focus was on dance/electronic-pop. Mimi Boncato's lyrics, vocals and melodies are in all our music. Teft Hughes composes and performs the instrumentals on our songs, engineers and produces our albums. Songs like Fairy Tale and Electric Core are listed on iTunes under "Mimi & Teft" albums, 2007-2010. Fairy Tale is out there a lot from it's association with TV shows such as the L Word, Pretty Little Liars and others. Search on Bella Bon Cat and you may also find our collaborations with 6 Brooks, a great hip hop team.
