简介
B-Class is not your average rapper... I mean that in a good way. Take a moment to consider the landscape of most of the emerging hip-hop artist from Chicago, and you can see how Class does not fit in. It seems as though you have to over exaggerate, or outright lie in order to "keep it real" these days. Fantasies about blowing a hundred grand every weekend in the strip club, and doing favors for El Chapo seem to over populate the airwaves. This has never been B-Class' game. I understand the entertainment value in the aforementioned approach, but it can be too much at times. After all, aren't there other things to talk about? Isn't the goal of an artist to break ground with new ideas in order to broaden their horizons, as well as their audience's, instead of just replicating what works? Hip-hop has become over-saturated in recent years... and that is precisely why B-Class is a breath of fresh air. He prides himself on not having to stretch the truth in order to bring entertainment value to his work. He values his listeners enough that he will not dumb down his words, or present them with a complete fabrication. He is the working man's rapper who talks about his life experiences in a manner that makes it easy to relate to. His lyrics are witty, entertaining, creative, and profound. This album's production is solid from start to finish. Lyrically, B-Class consistently shines throughout the entirety of the album. You can tell there is a different level of focus that separates this project from the others. If you've been following him, you are about to hear how well he has matured as an artist and an individual. If you are just now tuning in, you are about to bare witness to his finest effort yet... Lord Byron: Coach Life II.
