Cwil is an ambitious 21 year old who was born in South Carolina and now resides in Michigan. He finds passion in playing basketball, watching theatrical productions, acting, and in every aspect of music. Whether listening, performing, creating, writing, studying or simply enjoying, music has always had its way of finding him from elementary to his current college years. Corey realizes the importance of education and is studying for a Business Marketing degree at Western Michigan University; but is also in touch with his life’s goals and dreams and is an inspiring hip-hop artist. One attribute that separates his music from the norm, is his versatility as a writer. He finds inspiration from any genre of music from Bach to Pac and naturally keeps his music timeless, colorless and universal. To him, there is no failure, just opportunities to take a new approach or get stronger and try again, and with his competitive spirit, the sky is the limit.
