The album is separated into two distinct conceptual "sides". The first side, tracks 1-5, are faster, more aggressive, and deal with funnier subject material. The second side, tracks 6-9, are more brooding and serious, crescendoing into hysteria before falling to the psychedelic lullaby that closes the record. The title of the album is a reference to a punk band that Consuelos, McDonald, and Mazzucco started before Rust came to be. The Lehigh Valley Underground called the album, "a Jekyll-and-Hyde feat...delivering punk and indie rock alike with a gritty, lo-fi edge."
