Grantley Haynes, director and founder of GT's records commented to say, "This is a fantastic opportunity for the young talented individuals who won the Young Entertainer of the Year award to enter the entertainment industry, which is a tough and extremely competitive business. Judges were blown away with the talent on offer, and we are extremely proud of all of the young people who gave it their all in the competition. We are really excited to work with the talent that Birmingham has to offer. Watch this space!" The Finals were held at South Birmingham and City College, Digbeth, Birmingham, on Saturday 14th November 2015 and showcased some of the amazing talent already signed to GT’s Records such as local indie band Modern Minds, Keziasoul and Jbeatz. Industry legends Peter Spence and Sandra Cross, the amazingly talented 15 year old Miss Aliya and 16 year old Lucy Tennyson, Nottingham’s Matt Henshaw and Gospel band The Projects. The compere’s for the evening were Presenter Jennie Steel, MC Pop Major and TRYA Radio’s Little Richie. The event was a sell-out, and now The Young Entertainers are ready to showcase just how good they are; and how hard they are working to ‘break through’ into the music business. We wish them luck!!!!
