"Top Kids Songs Volume 1" is the newest release from the Emmy-Award winning Raggs Band. The album includes 10 of the all-time favorite kids songs with special, fun introductions by the Raggs characters from the TV series. The music team behind Raggs is a highly-respected group of industry professionals based at Concentrix Music and Sound Design in Charlotte, NC. Concentrix is a multi-award winning studio known for international music composition, arrangements and recordings for artists, feature films and the advertising industry. Fred Story, the founder of Concentrix, and Michael McGinnis, arranged the songs for the "Top Kids Songs Volume 1." The Raggs Band singers recorded the new album at Concentrix's studio in October 2014. A second album of 10 additional favorites is in production and will be released in 2015. New animations will accompany the songs and debut on Raggs TV, Raggs YouTube channel, beginning December 2014. The Raggs Band singers are all professional back-up and lead singers from well-known rock 'n' roll bands. The Raggs character voices are also nationally and internationally known voice talents and actors who frequently appear in feature films and major brand advertisements. The Raggs Band's music formed the foundation of the Emmy-award winning "Raggs" TV series, which begin production in Sydney, Australia in 2006 with continued supplemental production in the U.S. and Latin America in 2012, 2013, 2014. Raggs’ expansive library includes 195 finished half hour episodes and 200 original songs in multiple languages. The entertaining and educational series is based on the original characters created by Toni Steedman, a Charlotte, NC, advertising executive, for her then six‐year‐old daughter Alison. The rock 'n’ roll story of five canine characters is growing an international brand that includes TV distribution, multi-platform digital distribution, CDs, DVDs, toys, books and touring. With over 4,000 live performances around the world, The Raggs Band’s touring, live show and event experience has expanded to include a new partnership called “Play at Palladium with Raggs” with the Palladium Hotel Group at their resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.
