A product of Fresno and the Central Valley, this rare talent known as “Strict” has been producing and writing hip-hop music for over seven years. Despite being in the “Rap Game” for this short length of time, Strict’s love of music and artistic ability can be traced back to his earliest childhood memories. Having used his love of music to develop a unique rhythm and a creative ear for melodies and beats, Strict began performing with several local dance groups. Known as a gifted and talented dancer capable of movin’ to any beat, Strict chose to turn his attention to rapping and producing music. Through the years he has developed a unique blend of smooth club beats capable of jump-starting any party. His lyrics are described as dynamic, poetic, and laid back-with a rough edge. His lyrical mastery was born out of a love for poetry and self-introspection. Like “Bruce Lee”, Strict has perfected his craft by drawing from a number of ‘musical influences’ to include Jazz, Blues, Gospel, R&B and other musical genres.
