The Irrera Brothers Piano & Violin Duo made their Carnegie Hall debut in 2009 and have subsequently been invited back to the famed NYC concert venue again in 2012 and 2013. In their most recent appearance there the brothers (Joseph, piano; John, violin) gave the world premiere of "Bow Shock" written for them by composer Russell Scarbrough.

"Bow Shock" is a fast paced, exhilarating work which melds classical, jazz, and rock elements. This album not only features this newly composed tour de force but also includes beloved favorites from the standard classical repertoire.
