The Halve Two consists of two halves: Junes and Libs. Grown in Carson City, planted in Reno, Nevada, these childhood friends bring a fresh, unfiltered perspective to life and hip hop music. About two years ago, While Junes was working in Colorado and Libs was living in Carson City, they began to write the first songs of what would become their first work realeased independently in late March of 2011 titled “Take It Home EP.” Shortly after, they toured the western United States and put themselves on the map. Local venues and house parties became a common occurance as they began to gain credibility in the music scene. Over the past couple of years, The Halve Two has shared the stage with a plethora of emcees such as GZA, Sage Francis, Mac Lethal, Louis Logiq, Grieves, The Grouch, PROF and Del the Funky Homosapien. Known for their up-tempo, energetic live shows, Junes and Libs rhyme with as much cadence and style as they do emotional conviction.
