The Night (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Guitar - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song describes the way I feel about the night time. How it brings the truth in people, how lies are revealed, and misery is expressed through loneliness. When you're talking with someone in the night, for me, they become real, because no one else is around. They don't have to be superficial and fake anymore; they come as they are. Most, if not all, of the songs on this album were created in the night, so I think that this was a fitting song to have as the first one on the album. Wrong (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Alto Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song describes the dilemma that most guys/men feel when they are attracted to a woman: they don't know how she feels, or if she feels the same way. Its a risk that I've taken many times, when I approach a woman and try to speak to her without knowing if she'll entertain me or not. I wrote this song at a party one night on the roof of my mother's car. I left the party because I felt a song coming, so I went to the car, sat on the roof, and stared at the stars. I began to think about all of the things that we know nothing about, like love and emotion. I hope you enjoy this song. How You Want It (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song was actually geared towards my fans when I made it, because they were constantly complaining that I was always singing and not playing enough saxophone. So I decided to make a pure freestyle tenor saxophone song telling my fans, "Ite, how you want it's how you'll get it now!" Share (Acoustic) (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Rap - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Guitar - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Bass Guitar - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song, to me, represents my generation. The generation of the internet: Facebook and YouTube. The internet, and the sites within it, all share information. Through videos, posts, comments, articles, blogs, emails, etc., we all share information, experiences, opinions, and thoughts with one another. So in this song I urge more members of this world to peacefully and humbly share what they believe; "share with me tonight." I Need You Now (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Piano - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song is about someone. You know who you are. I’ll Be There (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Rap - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht I'll Be There is one of my classic songs, because I made the beat a very long time ago (when I was 16 or 17 I believe), and recorded the chorus at age 18. The rap was written in my first year of college, and the saxophone was recorded shortly thereafter. In a sense, this song represents my entire development and journey as a producer, composer, singer, rapper, and saxophonist. Lullaby (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Lullaby is a song that was obviously meant to make the listener fall asleep. It was a difficult song for me to record the saxophone for, because I usually play loud, vibrant, crazy songs, while this one required the skill of tranquility and seduction. I record dozens of takes, and I think that I picked the best two. You be the judge. Rain (Interlude) (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Piano - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Alto Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This is my favorite song on the album, because it expresses how I feel. "Every time, I open my eyes, all I see is pain. And every time I close my eyes, all I feel is the rain." That section was the chorus of the original version of this song, but it was terribly recorded, so I did not put it on the album. The Rain (Interlude) was actually the outro of the original version of Rain. I hope you like this song as much as I do. Away From This Land (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song is about the triangular trade. Enjoy. It’s Me Or You (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song is almost in conjunction with How You Want It, because they both have the same instruments featured in them (heavy drums, killer bass, crazy saxophone, electric guitar), and they are both the same style. This is the second, and last, vibrant, upbeat song on the album. I’m Tired (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Rap - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This song was inspired by my mother. Every day when she comes home from work, she says, "I'm tired." My mother is such a free spirit and the greatest person in the world to me, and I hate to see work, or anything else that is insignificant in this life, take her down, or take her natural energy to life. I kept repeating "I'm tired" in this song to emphasize and convey that message. Now, the question remains: When will you get tired of saying "I'm tired?" With You (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Guitar - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Bass Guitar - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Alto Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht With You is a song that combines two experiences of mine in a very strange way. The first experience was at a party at my best friends' house. We were smoking hookah the entire night in the bathroom, and we had smoked so much that the smoke began to fill the room next to the bathroom. Completely tired out and just done, I threw myself on the ground and looked up at the ceiling. There I saw the smoke, slowly traveling through the air, discreet and sleek, but elegantly there. I began to think about love. And how when you're in love, you're exactly like the smoke. You're flying through the air, not knowing where you're headed, and not caring. You don't know where love came from, and you don't know when it will be whisked away in the blink of an eye. When Two Hearts Cross (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Tenor Saxophone - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht "When two hearts cross, they're together forever, until forever is gone." That is the main theme of this song, featuring three tenor saxophones and nothing else. The tenor saxophone in the middle represents the rational Charlie/charlez360 that everyone knows and either likes or dislikes. The other two saxophones, however, represent different versions of me that no one knows about. Versions of me that think differently, behave differently. They're so different that one must ask, are they even me? Sail On The Clouds (Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht) Vocals - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Piano - Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht Engineered by Charlie “charlez360” Lamprecht This is the first dubstep song that I have ever made. I think that it turned out nicely. I wanted a really chill/trippy kind of vibe to it, and I think that was conveyed successfully. This song offers closure for all of the songs that you have just heard.
