简介
What do you get when you combine hard edge driven guitars, and three part harmonies, reminiscent of early king's x? You get Lifeline, which combines rock music, with positive Christian lyrics, outreaching to audiences in the Northeast. New York-based Lifeline was originally formed back in 1989 by guitarist Tyrone Williamson. Formed at the height of the Christian Metal era, Lifeline's goal was to spread the Good News. Lifeline had a successful run, with several recordings that were reviewed, by magazines such as Heaven's Metal with extremely positive reviews, which resulted in a larger fan-base. Almost ten years after the band broke up; Tyrone Williamson decided to recreate a new LifeLine in 2004 to record an album for commercial release. Williamson wanted to add a different dimension to the music. He wanted a rock sound, but with soulful vocals, something reminiscent of Living Colour. Lifeline's lineup currently consists of Williamson on the Guitar. He has enlisted some of the best talent to help on the recording, and the process of touring. Darryl D'Bonneau currently one of the best dance vocalists on the scene, has brought a new dimension to the music. He has utilized his R&B/dance vocals to give a soulful approach to the music. Freedom Bremner another talented vocalist who created a four-part harmony wall of vocals, currently has a single on A&M. Freedom is also another R&B/Rock vocalist.
