About me.... so why am I releasing an Album? I guess the fire was lit under my backside 4 years ago when at 30 years old I was diagnosed with dukes stage 3 bowel cancer. I've always been a "hobbiest" composer and wanted to record my music but I doubted myself. I was incredibly lucky to have a fantastic medical team here in Spain looking after me and I've been clean now for over 3 years! Anyone who's been there knows after you are never the same and my "bucket list" has since become a "fudge it" list, we are all dust in the wind, it's about living today! I am so grateful to still be here and wanted to be able to give something back (well that's my excuse anyway) I plan to donate a percentage of profits to benefits to "handinhandforsyria" who are doing a fantastic job! and "aecc" (The spanish cancer charity). We all know and love someone who has had to fight this awful disease and in my mind we need to find a way to prevent it in the first place. This only comes from research. I hope you like my album (I'm feeling pretty naked at the moment) it's really hard to subject your creativity to public scrutiny but if I can do some good from it, then hopefully it will be worth it!
