After being diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma cancer in early 2016, Jeff went through 5 rounds of chemotherapy. After gaining his strength back, Jeff decided to make an album and to donate 50% of the proceeds to Lymphona cancer research. Rise is the first single of this album. This version of Rise is layered with upper register trumpet work, all tracked by Jeff. After some great solo keyboard, guitar, and trumpet work, the theme picks back up and pushes toward a Maynard Ferguson style ending!
