Great Escape began as a writing experiment between singer/songwriter/guitarist Todd Aidan and guitarist/songwriter Marigold Sky. Their goal: to fuse their unique styles together and create strong, catchy songs with clever lyrics that paint a vivid picture. After building up an arsenal of material, Todd and Marigold joined forces with experienced former MCA and Virgin Records musicians to record and perform. The band played several of LA's premier venues and 2 festivals in Las Vegas before hitting the road...and then the studio! Great Escape's Now or Never EP features songs written on an epic 33-day road trip where the band traveled from Los Angeles, through Las Vegas, Chicago, Baltimore and New York to Boston. Great Escape's music is appreciated by fans of Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Switch Foot, Good Charlotte and U2.
