Tony recorded the First Song to exploit the dance called the ' WATUSI' (MISS RECORDS) - (1960) and later released on (CHESS RECORDS # 1776) - (1961) ...Check: (Goldmine Magazine - Oct-Nov.(1978)........TONY has done just about everything one can do in the Music Business - Songwriter, Recording Artist, Record Producer, Promotion/Marketing, Label Owner, Retailer, also Performed with such Legends as: DUKE ELLINGTON, COUNT BASIE, SAMMY DAVIS, JR, B.B. KING, BOBBY BLUE BLAND, BIG JOE TURNER, THE DELLS and others too numerous to mention....TONY GIDEON Is No Rookie !! ....Having been in retirement from performing for a number of years and working behind the scenes, Tony decided the time is right to release a song that he had in " the can" for several years..........."I LOVE YOU LIKE THE WIND" is a Soul/Pop Masterpiece....with such notable musicians on the session as: GERALD SIMS of Chicago on Guitar, JIMMY PRYOR of Chicago on Bass, Several members of THE CHICAGO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in String Section and a couple of musicians that played periodically with EARTH, WIND AND FIRE in Horn Section. Song was recorded at the refurbished CHESS STUDIOS known at the time as GERIM STUDIOS and owned by: GERALD SIMS, around 1984.
