A classic album of early salsa music from Puerto Rican Latino band leader Chorolo (real name Ramon Gonzalez) with his swinging Combo, along with Raffy Martinez on vocals.

This hot dance band played a range of Latin rhythms popular in the 1960s: bomba, descarga, guaracha, bolero, meringue, cumbia etc. At the time of original release the band’s audience would have been the growing Puerto Rican populace in New York. Nowadays we can all appreciate the brilliance of the musicianship and the tight arrangements of this infectious music.
