简介

On May 12, 2001, Erick Bieger played a sold out show for a hometown crowd in Fullerton, California and retired at the young age of 28. For ten years, Erick had performed all over the world, most notably as the singer and guitarist for god complex, a modern rock band that was too ahead of its time. Now, tired of the music scene and jumping through corporate hoops, Erick called it a day. Twelve years later, Erick has returned with more energy and creativity than ever before. When asked, “Why now?”, Erick had this to say: “It’s all on my terms now. I’ve got a great career, a beautiful wife and three kids who support everything that I do. There are no more record labels to please – I can play now simply because I love it.” And you can tell. Subtitled "A Melancholic Tale of the Mourning After," Anything/Everything is a concept album that explores the duality of love and relationship. An original tour de force that showcases a unique mix of rock, blues, and Americana, this debut solo effort from Erick was definitely worth the wait! Opening with the hauntingly beautiful "The Giant Tire On Outer Drive," the listener is immediately engaged in the journey that slowly unfolds over the next forty-plus minutes. From the swelling rhythms of "Rapture" to the bluesy wit of "Four Days of Steady Rain," through the epic lushness of "Beautiful Distraction to the yearning strains of the title track, we become one with the protagonist and his experience...but by the time we revisit our tire at the end we may find we have lived a completely different story. Like a unique tapestry, every thread is different - yet all are necessary to complete the picture. So stay awhile - join me on this tire and we can swing, swing, swing, swing. _____________________________________________________________________________ Album Credits: Erick Bieger - Vocals and Acoustic Guitars All Music & Lyrics written by Erick Bieger All Songs ℗ © 2013 Erick Bieger All rights reserved.
