简介
I believe Fallen Fronds to be the embodiment of my music experience. Raised on Motown, I found my groove in late 70s pop and disco, new wave and industrial in the 1980s, trip hop/ambient/progressive house in the 1990s, and whatever you want to call it electronic music of the present; a little bit of all of these elements can be found in my music. I tend to describe the sound of Fallen Fronds as experimental electronic--although I know there are a bit more beats, with this term referring to my perceived range of music types incorporated. On the debut EP, Thermal Breakdown, the four tracks differ greatly. The first track, Protagonist, is a darker track with a lot of bubble synths with a tad of 70s flair that tends to make me smile. Track 2, Inflection, is the industrial track with a complex sonic subplots and vocal treatments. The third track, Cyclones, is basically my Orbital track (I hope the Hartnolls like it); I liken this track to a self-contained emotional journey or event. Add the final track, the cover of Erasure's "Cry So Easy," is just pure 1980s pop bliss; it was an amazing experience working with Bill Kelley (of Flipside 71), who sang lead vocals.
