Compilation of tracks by Zone 33 and Moebius released on vinyles "Toxic Zone records" between 2005 and 2006.BIOGRAPHY ZONE 33 : ZONE-33 is a dj’s / producers duo from Montreal, Canada. They have been making music since 2001 and have been at the forefront of the underground Tekno scene with their swift production of cutting edge beats. Zim and Ataka were introduced to electronic music around 1999-2000 through d’n’b / jungle events in Amsterdam and Mtl and discovered the tribe/spiral/tekno movement with mixes from friends and live-sets from Desert Storm who came to visit around 2000-2001. Since then they’ve been working relentlessly at pushing the limits of the sound, releasing records on labels such as: Lediableaucorps(Heretik), Proto Prod(Infrabass), Mr Freeze(Lsdf), Audio Resistance(Enfant Sages), Tekiteazy, Elektrokanibal, Medellin Cartel(Skwatt) and more... 40 vinyls + various compilations and mixes. Their sound is kicking Hard Tekno music aimed for the dancefloor, mixed with breaks, vocals and melodies, drawing influences from Drum&Bass, HipHop, Breakcore, Video Game music, etc. They have participated in various events throughout the city and surrounding areas with Neurotik Sound System in Canada and played their first show in Europe, summer of 2007 in Wien(Austria) and Praha(CZ). Expect to see them back in Europe for a 1 month tour this February/March 2009 to kick off the new year! BIOGRAPHY MOEBIUS :Young artist from Montréal, he starts to learn Music during his childhood but doesn't put too much effort in it. He discovered Electronic music with the Thunderdome's Compillations, and later, free parties will change his perception of music. Start mixing in 99, he leaves France for the Québec in 2001 to create (with artist as Zone-33/DjMutante/Dunzy/Arttek etc...) the Montreal's collective Neurotik (www.ntkrew.org). They'll organise the first teknivals in Quebec and Canada. Very present in the free-parties's scene in Montréal, he plays in many events in Québec and Ontario. Start to produce music in 2003, and realeased some records collaborations with Zone-33 (Tekicardi2 and Toxiczone2) and a first ep on Protoprod (proto36). Since then, he is in collaboration with Krysalide (Moloko9/Alcaloide7) and spend now all his time creating music and livesets. Recently, he stopped during 2 years producing hardtekno/hardcore to produce more electro and break-beat tracks. He is now resident with DjMutante at the club "le Saphir" in Montréal, for the "Hardcore-Unerground" events. Unable to chose between tribe, hard-tekno, hardcore, elctro, acid, breakbeat, this versatile artist, is define by his agressives sounds (heavy bassdrums, loud and dancefloor's basslines).
