Mento Records, a new underground house music label based in Ipswich UK and run by producer/remixer Dan Starie. With an ethos centred around the foundations of releasing quality house music ranging from deep cool vibes through to chunky tech beats with that raw underground and foot shuffling swing. Its the labels passion to deliver the goods, from established underground artists to up and coming and first time producers. Off course, Dan will be releasing his own productions and remixes on his label starting with Mento Records debut release, an EP entitled "It's Time", with 2 stomping tracks. The first cut "Feel The Funk" is a jacked up slab of house, filled with funk and flavour, snappy beats and cool vocal stabs. The second track "Turn It Up" a slightly deeper cut this time with a fat bubbling bass, cool stabs and again vocal shouts all in the right place.. This debut release is a sign of things to come.
