It is seamlessy woven together by mellow strings and rolling drums, generating a lush soundscape for the vocals to drop in. The track really takes off after the crunchy bassline sets the tempo, with precisely positioned snippets of effects and melodic elements adding an extra layer of flavour to the track. It rolls effortlessly into the breakdown, where the stripped down technique draws out all the components, showing how well the formula works. This one does not let you go until the end. With "Timeless", Definate and inZtance show just how well they collaborate, both adding their trademark tricks to create a piece of music that is energetic, complex and memorable all at the same time. The unique growling basslines that are resonating with the jazzy rhodes licks, masterfully crafted by Definate, are a perfect overture for the vocal samples from "The Man From Earth", bringing the whole piece together as a track seemingly bends time-space and puts its listeners to another place.
