Song writer and multi-instrumentalist, Mimi Gilbert discovered her love for performing on the streets of American cities as a teenager. She continues to make music around the world, playing in venues of all kinds. Soon moving back to Australia, where she will be based out of Melbourne.

Mimi Gilbert's second album entitled "B sides" with single available "The Curtain", is intended to be listened to in one sitting. In this collection of songs, Mimi writes and sings into the depths of loss, disconnection, and finally acceptance and a maturity that develops through strife. Musically feeling and diverse, full of harmony and intimate vocals, mimi reveals a softer side of her music that is true to her live performances when solo.
