简介
In the spring of 2017 John Stamp headed to Nashville to record nine songs. Partly as a getting something out of your system exercise and partly as a serious attempt to make some music with some of Nashville's best session players. The results surprised and pleased both John and the guys in the room creating the vibes! Will Kimbrough featured highly with his soaring weeping guitar lines, partly absorbed from all things country but also as a keen student of UK/British music. Leigh Nash from Sixpence None The Richer duetted on Blowing me Kisses and added various vocal lushness across the album. Produced by John Hartley and wonderfully Engineered by Dwayne Larring. Franklin54 is the result of 20 years of hoping and wishing.
