Healer Twins are a dynamic duo from the European state of Georgia, residing in Dubai, UAE. Having travelled and growing up in numerous parts of the world, twin sisters Liana and Thea Shengelaia discovered their passion and talent for singing form the age of 9 years old, organising small gigs in their neighbourhood. The twins later went on to graduate from medical university and work as junior doctors in Dubai, UAE. Combining their long-standing interest for the therapeutic effects of music on the brain, they decided to integrate their occupation and passion to form “Healer Twins”, a duel act aimed at creating therapeutically driven music. Having performed in multiple countries, the twins often return to their ‘home away from home’ in Dubai to perform intimate shows at venues such as The Fridge, The Music Room, Fete De La Musique, DIFC, Freshly Ground Sounds, SIKKA art fair, and Gulf Music Festival. Their newest musical endeavour sees them collaborate with producer Mohammad Bailouni of CTG Productions to release their latest single “Instinct”. The track engulfs their natural affinity to blending together elements of classical and modern music to create a ‘trip-hop / baroque pop’ fusion.
