David "White Cloud" Burkhart (Mahpiya Ska)is of Lakota/Cree descent has created a trilogy of CDs using only Native American instruments. The first CD is Ancient Voices with recording from a Kiva in Manitou Springs, Colorado dating back over a thousand years. The second CD, Ina Maka (Lakota for Mother Eart)is a celebration of the Sacred Feminine Spirit - Our mothers, sisters, and daughters. The last of the trilogy, due to be released in the summer of 2007 is called Mahpiya A'te (Lakota for Father Sky) dedicated in the memory of the Native American Warrior, recorded at Crazy Horse Monument in South Dakota. This music is perfect for meditation or just relaxation. Music videos for Ancient Voices and Ina Maka are currently available.
