Antonyo Franklin A.K.A Foe Five A.K.A Deon Davis, born November 20, 1974, raised the only child by single parent Norma Allen fourteen years before his sister (Kiesha Allen) was born. Foe Five grew up in the grimiest parts of the north, south, east and west parts of Detroit, Michigan. At age eleven, fell head first into the street life of Detroit while being taunted and tormented by his peers, in the process of searching for a place to fit in, Foe-Five stumbled across a form of communication that quickly caught his interest, Foe Five found himself spending less time in the street an more time in the basement of his home trying to scratch the surface of his new found “Passion.” Foe five was a “natural” given the opportunity to share his “Passion.” Foe Five found himself running with a crowd that his mother didn’t approve of. Shortly after his mom consistent worries of that fatal phone call, came to reality. Foe five was hit by a car barley surviving this ordeal. Foe five was sent down south to Indianola, Mississippi. Where he went to school and lived with his grandmother, with no fear of what happened before happening again. Foe five later stepped up and stepped out in search of a “Sipher,” quickly finding what he sought he became that guy everybody with a gift to put rhyming words together wanted a piece of. “They stepped up I knock ‘em down.” Foe five said. “Jeolousy caused problems though.” While living in Mississippi Foe five performed for the first time at a talent show in Greenville Miss, and won first place “the crowd went wild.” Foe five said. During the end of the school year in Indianola Miss, Foe Five got in trouble at school; he was suspended later sent back to Detroit to live with his mom. By age sixteen Foe Five had been to jail over fourteen times and, his “passion” began to fade. Foe five said’ it was as thow no one who matter cared for this “passion” so I gave up and became a ‘hustla.” Later locked up again at age seventeen and was later released at age nineteen only to be lead back from which he came to embrace the passion he left behind he recorded his first song “souljah don’t die” and it was then Foe Five said “I began to take my passion seriously and make something of it.” He recorded songs titled “stop look listen,” “c u at the end,” “deep in side my mind” and “he’s coming back.” Which was released on a compilation presented by “BIG WHEELS rec.” shortly after he was featured on a local album called “faces” presented by “BIG FACE rec. ” He Performed on a weekly basis at over a dozen open mic’s in the Michigan vicinity. During the winter of 1999 he performed two songs at a show case presented by “Arista Sony” and two other major record companies. Under the name “lil D.” two years later he drop a solo EP entitled “FOE FIVE” “I GETZ HOT” hit the street and made it do what it do, like most times in life priority changed face, in the process of trying to live a couple of artist from his past approached him with a proposal “I couldn’t refuse” Foe Five said, so he Came back, “Why set fire to a bridge you must one day cross?
