Camp Crush is an exploration of new wave rock and melodic pop writing, fronted by forever sweethearts, Chris Spicer & Jen Deale. Weaving together a blend of current topics and whimsical and danceable pop melodies, Camp Crush makes you feel like you’re at the High School prom you wish you had. Camp Crush is preceded by Santiam, the band’s previous iteration. Santiam began as a folk trio and quickly progressed as Jen Deale & Chris Spicer (drums, vocals, songwriter, producer) teamed up with Portland rock veterans Nate Purscelley (bass, vocals) and Chandler Strutz (electric guitar) to evolve the band into a more danceable rock sound.
