Growing up listening to the Gold Age of rap, Jay Taz incorporates old school flows with the new elements of Hip Hop in his first official EP, Martyr. Communicating pain, tears, death, and heartbreak, Jay Taz simultaneously paints the truth that God is never too far to be reached no matter how dark a situation may seem. Noticing that hip hop is by far a fatherless genre, Jay Taz aims to introduce God as the Father that we all have been searching for; not as a God who condemns and hates us, but a God that saves us.
