Remember the criticism Jimi Hendricks received from his rendition of the National Anthem (Star Spangled Banner) and the chatter about Alicia Keys 2013 rendition of the same at the Super Bowl? Well, if you’re one of those who suffer from jingoism, then, there will be little surprise of this critical reaction from Put’s “Rhythm to Move Da Flag (Star Spangled Banner).” What should be realized is that these Artists, out of respect, took the time to create a version of the Nation’s Anthem which so many dearly love. So stop being a fuddy duddy and enjoy the tribute these Artists pay to their Country.
