ITALIANO Nömer Dù fu il CD della svolta. Ovvio: si parla di un fenomeno comunque locale, ma con delle cifre impressionanti. Il Bepi fino ad allora aveva all’attivo solo “Bepi & Friends”, un rudimentale CD di sole 4 tracce che, però, gli aveva fatto capire che quella strada poteva essere battuta con successo. Così fu: nel 2005 licenziò un album tutto di inediti interamente scritti da lui (ad eccezione di “Co de goma” e dei remix dance). Dall’altopiano clusonese a tutto il territorio bergamasco ci arrivò in un baleno. In pochi mesi il Bepi divenne un fenomeno di costume: quest’improbabile cow-boy che incredibilmente raccontava ai bergamaschi qualcosa che già conoscevano benissimo e per di più nella loro lingua! Può sembrare la scoperta dell’acqua calda, ma a Bergamo non fu così: per anni la gente s’era invano cercata nel linguaggio dei media, senza mai trovarsi. Poteva essere, forse, una semplice moda, ma almeno per un’estate aveva trovato il suo eroe. Da questo disco, che possiamo considerare quasi d’esordio, già si intuivano le caratteristiche che da sempre contraddistingueranno Bepi & The Prismas: varietà di stili, buona qualità musicale e testi in superficie divertenti, ma molto pungenti ed attenti se vagliati con più attenzione. ENGLISH N°2 was the “boom” work. Clear: we’re talking about a local phenomenon, but with great numbers. Il Bepi until that moment had only a simple mini-CD with 4 songs, but he had understood that this idea could be the right one. He was right. In 2005 he got out a CD with all songs written by him (out of “Co de goma” and the dance remixes, realized by Christian Ryder). From Clusone’s highland to the rest of the province of Bergamo he arrived in a flash. In few months il Bepi became a trendy thing: this improbable cow-boy who told to Bergamo’s people what they exactly already knew and most of all in their language! It could seem an obvious thing, but it wasn’t so in Bergamo. For years people had been searching their selves in national media, without any result. It could be a simple trend, why not, but they had found their hero for that summer. In this record, that we can consider a debut album, we can find the typical characteristics of all Bepi & The Prismas’ songs: an incredible variety of styles, good music and funny words, but very precise and deep if you want to examine them with more attention.
