This collection of 14 tracks was recorded in 2000 and 2001 at the famed Bradley's Barn in Nashville, TN and re-mastered in 2016. The popular standards chosen were rearranged and orchestrated to feature the piano magic of legendary Nashville musician Bill Pursell. Backed by the Nashville String Machine, horns and a top notch rhythm section of A list Nashville players, the recording was remastered in 2016. Lush, sweeping, funky, nostalgic and affecting. Guest vocalists included Laura Pursell, Julia Holland, Kelly Clawson and Terry White. Featured musicians included Boots Randolph, Rusty Higgins, Buddy Harmon and Ray Brinker. Along with standard pop songs from the 20th century, a reworked version of "Our Winter Love", Pursell's 1963 hit record, is included. "Laura's Song", a heartfelt instrumental written by Pursell, has its first release here. And the final track "A Time Remembered", is Pursell's personal ode to Mozart based on one of the first sonatas he learned as a child. Arrangements were handled by Rusty Higgins, Bill Pursell and Tom Ranier.
