Recognized two-years running in the West Coast Songwriter's International Song Contest, Shannon has been faithfully serving as a worship musician at Cornerstone church in San Francisco for 12 years while also gracing the stage of some of the country's best music venues: CBGB in New York, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, Triple Door in Seattle, and many, many more. She is a prolific songwriter (over 200+ songs in her original collection) and is influenced strongly by Patty Griffin, Mindy Smith, Lucinda Williams, Sarah Kelly, Jennifer Knapp, Tracy Chapman, Carole King and Tom Petty. “In this season of Contemporary Christian music, I sense a yearning for something fresh, something sonically riskier than what we’ve been putting out for Him.
