I wanted to create something beautiful for the Lord! I wanted to get myself 'uncomfortable' and outside of my comfort zone ... those of you that write / produce music understand what I mean ... it's too easy to rely on what you know. I wanted to labor over this music ministry project and 'sweat the situation' a little ... like a child laboring over a craft or art project at school ... not for the grade ... but for the warm feeling that comes when you take it home to that parent or family member ... and once they see it ... LOVE is written all over their face(s) as they view this labor of love you've created from nothing ... because you want so badly to give them something from deep within you. Something to make them proud of you. Something to give you a sense that 'you are good' in the eyes of those you want so desperately to validate that thought and emotion. You know what I'm saying. So I've worked hard over the past 7 years laboring in Churches to do the most anointed work I could to Bless the Church families I would minister to musically ... including travelling near and far to Churches from Baltimore MD to Petersburg VA and everywhere in-between ... asking for nothing more than an opportunity to be used: to make for the most anointed & spiritually-charged environment ... to bring the Spirit down into the room hard and heavy for the congregation ... to help people get their breakthrough via the music I've been Blessed to create and share. I feel great about this current work ... I feel as though the Lord is pleased with me, the work and the labor required over the past 7 years to bring this all together. I feel great about the music ministry I've grown into ... and feel as though I've been given the authority by GOD to do what I am doing to Bless people. 'You are Holy' is the 1st single release on this work ... now complete and ready for digital download here on CD Baby. As you know we are all so Blessed by the Lord our GOD ... every day.
