Strange in L.A. was inspired by all of the crazy things I’ve experienced while living in this city for the last decade. The weirdness of Hollywood Blvd when the tourists aren’t around. The madness of Venice Beach. The opulence of the hills. And everywhere, the people. The people, trying so hard to be noticed, to be perfect, to be left alone. I would walk down Hollywood Blvd, and I would think, being the normal, clean-cut kid that I was, that I was the strange one. I was out of place.
