Once you've arrived at being a Princess what do you do? Becoming More than a Princess means that a girl uses her position to make a difference in the World. She cares about others and gives service. This is the theme of the Princess Festival, the new and exciting Princess movement. The cover song is the story of Princess Ilissa who has everything but is bored. She decides to respond to a flooding situation and eventually starts the Princess Festival tradition. The next song is about how there is a Princess in every girl and woman. Then comes the song, If I can I will, about not backing down when there are human needs to be addressed. Four different princesses stories are highlighted between the choruses. Can you tell which story goes with which princess? Next, Princess Sonrisa comes to the forefront as she sings about the advice her dying mother gives her to smile and sing her song. The girls are taught about "Finding the Magic Within" in the Hobbyduke Song. Each of the Princess Festival princesses has a mentor , called a Hobbyduke, who advises and teaches her the skills of a true princess. Hobbydukes are older people from another land who are symbolic of Grandparents teaching their grandchildren the 'hows' and 'whys' to become first a Princess and then More than a Princess. The final song, Things are gonna be alright, is about z spunky little redhead with freckles, Princess Mila who loves to play pranks and hates to do work, until a disaster strikes her home and people are in a panic and afraid. She then shines with her pretend quizzlerod (magic wand) and magic words, Ooga Booga.
